Service Terms and Conditions

By bringing your device to iDeal for service, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Devices can be picked up on the basis of a service certificate and/or an identity document.

2. Devices that lack a valid warranty or have physical or liquid damage are serviced as paid work only and in such a case the following may happen:

2.1. the device may suffer damage to the extent that it cannot be repaired;

2.2. the device may become completely unusable, which makes it impossible to return it to the customer in its former state;

2.3. the device may exhibit new defects, because it is impossible to determine the extent to which the device is damaged due to the aforementioned damage.

3. During service work, the preservation of customer data is not guaranteed.

4. Service centre does not assume responsibility for problems that occur due to the normal wear of consumable parts (batteries) during service.

5. Service centre does not guarantee the preservation of any casings, protective glasses, films and stickers during service.

6. The customer is required to pick up the device within three months of being notified of the completion of the servicing work. Upon exceeding this deadline, the service centre reserves the right to use the device to cover the repair and/or storage costs.

7. In accordance with Apple requirements, the service centre may send Apple anonymous diagnostics information on the hardware of a device in service.

8. To measure the quality of service, Apple may send the customer a feedback survey regarding the recent service.

9. Repairs and spare parts (including replacement devices) are covered by a three-month warranty. The prices shown in the quotations are replacement prices. Replaced/defective devices and spare parts will be returned to the manufacturer upon completion of the repair.

10. The service centre does not disclose customer data (including data contained in the devices) to third parties unless required by authorities.

11. When registering a device for servicing, the customer is obliged to read and accept the service terms and conditions.
